hump day thoughts

This year is my 3rd year in business and I am quickly approaching my 2 year Annieversary for teaching. I am excited to add some workshops to the schedule, new classes and I am still trying to incorporate my baking club. I promise it is coming!!

The classes continue to be fun, filled with sweets, laughs, learning, and socializing with like minded new friends.

I love it when students show up to a class and see someone they either met in a class, or see a picture of a student on my FB or Instagram of someone they know that took a class. The joy, that radiates from my students is amazing. I have definitely had days where I thought, maybe I shouldn’t have taught today because of being tired, having an “off day” where I may not have felt my best, but one thing I can always count on, is being with the best students ever! Every smile is like a hug.

I have definitely had some mishaps along the way and several of those “off days” maybe I should have rested, but I have never regretted teaching any class. I LOVE IT. If I could do it all day every day, I would, but I do need time off.

This year I am working on so many ideas and am excited for the future of Annie’s Signature Sweets. I am working on having some behind the scenes help to assist with some of the tasks that come with this boss babe life that I can pass on to someone else. Boss babe life is pretty amazing, tough, exhausting and it is hard to do it all alone. I am doing it, but choosing to work smarter this year and find some days to maybe be truly off.

I am grateful to be the person you choose to spend your time with, the person that you choose to laugh with, learn from, bring your friends and co-workers or family to join me in my home away from home (the kitchen).

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THIS BUSINESS RUNNING AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AS I FIGURE OUT ALL THE NON-BAKING STUFF:)

XOXO

ANNIE
