Time for a mini break:)

Prior to starting a business, I rarely took breaks. I love baking and am a hard worker but would continue to work until things got done. This is a great skill and also a very poor choice. The result, I ran myself into the ground and made myself miserable. Not fun.

What I have realized is that hard work is extremely important and even more importantly, a time to rest and refresh is very necessary. Traveling has always been a passion of mine. I love to explore new places and new cities, countries, and do new fun things. I am making a conscious effort to have fun AND work hard.

I feel like the only time I can truly take a mental break, means a road trip filled with snacks, a variety of music, sunglasses and a destination or a flight to a new place with snacks, adventures, sweets and an inspired destination.

Truth be told, financially it is extremely challenging to take these trips but somehow, someway, I will find a way to take a break and reset.

This weekend I am taking some time to hang out with my girlfriends and celebrate a dear friend’s bachelorette in Nashville! I can assure you that you will see some pics of our adventures:)

In the meantime, Please remember to sign up for my classes, please vote for me for Best Pastry Chef @ Cleveland Scene Magazine. Voting ends Thursday:)

Thank you of always following me and supporting me on this roller coaster ride. I am excited to take a mini break and come back refreshed and share my adventures and sweet indulgences with you:)

xoxo
