The truth about my baking classes.......

Truth, my baking classes have surprised me again and again and again and again at how much joy they bring me. The students have embraced not only me, but they surprise themselves at how baking can be fun, relaxing and attainable. Even if you have never baked anything in your life, you will come out of every class with a product that you baked yourself.

My goal with these classes was to be true to myself, teach my tips and “tricks” along the way and meet some amazing students that may come back a few times. I wanted to make sure that everyone had the ability to create their own unique sweets. We all like different things. I of course, only eat desserts and carbs so…..I am the best teacher that you can ask for, a dessert addict with an unmatched sweet tooth.

The statements that I hear constantly, the doubt in the self identified “non-bakers” is gone. Baking is commonly referred to as sooo scientific, scary, intimidating. It is less often referred to as relaxing fun, joyful. In my classes I promise that you will find yourself enjoying the class with other non-bakers, create friendships, memories, be inspired by others and have your own signature sweet to take home at the end of the class.

The scheduling of my classes, that is truly at times extremely stressful. I won’t bore you with the details, but it is definitely a labor of love. I am extremely grateful and blessed to have so many students come back time and time and time and time again.

I try to make sure the schedule has something for everyone for all levels. It is hard to know what people are going to choose and it is usually the ones that I put out randomly that take the lead.

I am always open to new ideas for classes and I will always be willing to revisit classes that I have taught for the last 2 years.

Thank you for your patience, your joy, your excitement and your creativity that has allowed me to grow as a teacher, a baker, an artist and help fuel my passion and love for baking. I truly have the best STUDENTS EVER!

Whether you come for the sweets, the snacks, the social aspect or to truly learn how to bake “literally everything” I am more than happy to keep on welcoming you with a smile, some mishaps, a badass right arm and my cheesy, hyper, sweet and sassy badass self.

This year has been more than I ever could have imagined and I am just getting started.

I cannot wait for 2020 and what is coming… all I can say is BIG things are happening. THANK YOU for being here. I am proof that hard work does eventually start to pay off. This dream of mine did not begin until a little over 3 years ago and hard work and determination has put me here. I have struggled, been in deep valleys and lows and nothing in this boss babe life will ever be perfect, however, I am extremely proud that my persistence and passion have helped me get to where I am today.

xoxo
